Our diving services include diver training, photo/videography, film services, search and recovery, safety diver, consulting, contracting. We are dedicated in honoring our nations military and first responders. We are an approved military VA Testing Center and Skillbridge facility.
We are based out of the Houston Texas area but are capable of operations worldwide. We have extensive experience in a wide range of environmental conditions from caves, deep water, swift currents, to tranquil blue ocean settings.

Our Team
Mark London - Owner/Course Director
Mark opened Deep Abyss Scuba in 2024. He is a NAUI Course Director and Technical Instructor. He has served as a NAUI committee member previously and currently, in order to help grow the agency. He has a BS in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University. He previously held the roll of Chairman of The Diving Control Board for Texas A&M University. While there he oversaw the dive training program. This program trained recreational, technical, and scientific divers. He also designed and managed the dive locker and led many research expeditions for university faculty along with TPWD and NOAA NMFS. He has been diving since 1991 and takes great pride in training everyone from every age range.
Korie Oakes – Dive Master
Korie began her diving career in 2024 when the store first opened. She was interested in using her GI Bill to cover a new path in life. She has successfully used the Armed Forces program to progress to NAUI Divemaster. She helps to manage the day-to-day operations of the store, teaching Intro to Scuba and Refresher courses, and assisting with additional classes. She takes great pride in ensuring safety and positive learning is in the forefront.
Faustyn Langowski – Instructor
Faustyn is a versatile and seasoned Scuba Instructor, actively certified with NAUI, SSI, and PADI. With extensive global dive experience, he excels at teaching a broad range of courses from entry-level Open Water to advanced and specialty certifications. He is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and education across all three major training agencies. He adapts his instructional approach to meet the varied needs and learning styles of his students, focusing on building diver confidence, fostering environmental stewardship, and providing engaging, effective training both in the classroom and in the water.
